Our three main strategies to provide opportunities for people to develop a quality of life are:
  • Leadership Training through classes, seminars and workshops.

  • Orphan Care that not only includes taking care of physical needs, but focusing on specific leadership skills development.

  • Church Planting by establishing churches; training and supporting leaders to lead the church effectively and evangelize.


WE ARE ONE Ministries is a nonprofit organization based on Biblical principles which focuses on leadership development for the people of Africa. Its founders are Moffat Phiri, a Malawian, and Rosemary Gibbons Phiri, an American, who are committed to reaching people with the Gospel as well as raising the quality of life.

The vision of WE ARE ONE Ministries is to provide opportunities for people to develop a quality of life so that spiritual, emotional, physical intellectual and social needs will be met. It is believed that through teaching and training, people can learn how to take responsibility for themselves and others.

The headquarters of WE ARE ONE Ministries is in Mzuzu, Malawi, Africa – with the founders, Moffat and Rosemary Phiri, living there. A board and volunteers operate in the United States to oversee the funding arm and to assist in paperwork.
